BC Saltwater Fishing Reports

This weather sucks, Saw lots of Herring boiling on the surface plus a few fish jumping. Clients wanted Halibut so no Salmon fishing which is fine. Just wait till the marina opens then look out Salmon. Last year at this time the fishing was good and really got going by May. If wishing to fish Port Renfrew remember the Marina is not open till May1st, you can launch at the native ramp, but be careful as the Gordon River can push your boat up on the rocks if flowing hard, at this time it is do to this sh--t weather. Halibut fishing was good, but nothing over 25. Lots of nice crabs....
