Early June Fishing

The fishing for salmon in the Port McNeill area has been slow so far this year. Not a lot of fish so far this year, the feed has been deep and the weather has been great. A few salmon in the 15-20 lbs have been caught along the back side of Malcolm on anchovie and purple haze hootchies.

The hali fishing has been good with lots of chickens being caught. Any place with a flat bottom in 150-200' will produce fish right now. Good spots to check are the bottom end of Malcolm and in front of Cluxewe.

Will up date when thing change.

Cheers

The last I heard, the fishing out of Hardy was good, with some nice catches of springs off Duval and Castle, plus the usual long run places.

There is a couple other site that have pretty good fishing info on Hardy.

I will try to keep the info up on both places.

Cheers
