Nice report Fish-Hunter.

We had a good weekend also. We got our limit of 8 sat and sun morning. Probably went around 8 for 20 each day but lost track. Lots of fun!

Fished the inlet Saturday for Sockeye. Cous Creek - Nada, China Creek - Nada, Franklin Mill - Nada, Nahmint - Nada, Narrows at Pocahontas Pt. - Nada, Pill Pt. - Nada, Swale Rk. - Nada (didn't expect sockeye to be at Swale). Notice a trend here???

Out in the south east part of the sound the Chinook were hard to come by, lost a couple of shakers, and one very small coho. A buddy that I know was out with his brother and they caught a 35# Chinny just off Diplock early Saturday morning, nice fish  .

Bottom fish were all that came home. We weren't prepared for an offshore trip so we didn't go outside would have been nice out there I think. Should have prepped for offshore and just shot the canal instead. Don't know if we will get any more Sockeye this year, the commercial guys are putting a lot of pressure on the remaining fish right now and looks like for some time to come, so there may not be much opportunity for them to make it very far up the inlet, unless there is a lot more coming (doubt that though). We will have to see  .
FISH ON! :D
