Freedom Charters mentioned to me that limits were caught off China creek by two boats this morning. Ill be giving it a go in the next two days. I was up at China creek on the weekend and didnt here of one sockeye come in, so maybe there was a push over night. Maybe Stress Medicine has and update?

A buddy of mine texted me earlier today to say his father in law limited out at China Creek in an hour. Not sure how many were in the boat.
Sounds promising.

just got a report from a friend who fished Hook Saturday and Sunday morning. Apparently it was unreal on Saturday...7 for 20 with fish larger and fiestier than expected. 7 for 10 Sunday. Fishing 30 - 45' deep with the usual gear. Fishing completely died off at 8:30 both days.

fished last 2 hours before dark last night and 3 hours this morning between Dunsmuir and the Narrows...last night hooked over 20 and landed our 8 this morning hooked over 30 and only landed 6! . Depths ranged from 25 to 65'. Nice sized fish.
What hooks do you guys use in your squirts?

Good weekend for us... we got our 8 each morning... 8 for 16 the first day in about 90 mins, then 8 for 20 today. Lots of fish out there.

Wish we had more people on the boat.... could of had way more... haha.

Well today was a great day in the canal for Sockeye. What a blast! :D 15 for 25 to 30 or so (honestly lost count). Finally gave up for our 16th one to limit out around 10:30. Total chaos and pandemonium with double and triple headers, trying to get the hook out of the net to get the next fish out of the water, lots of fun. Good to see Osama out there slayin them, finally got to say hello, I look up from my down rigger to see the boat next to me, and a face that I recognized although the beard was significantly shorter, and I say I know who you are, kinda funny running into him out there with all of the boats that were out there today.

We were hitting them on MP15 and MP Pink with red stripe behind Red-Glo or Purple Haze flashers. At 25-45' deep. Man the ones that hit the shallow sets were powerful and acrobatic, leaping and jumping, tail walks, just awesome.

Cheers all,
Jay.
FISH ON! :D
