Time for some 2012 Barkley Sound reports... hopefully getting out there soon.

Got back out to Barkley this weekend. Spent most of the time getting things setup for the summer. The weather was awesome.... shorts and flip flops!
We did get a nice Ling on a zurtro glow green haze. Prawning was poor near the Nook as the commercial guys are cleaning up, crabbing was decent though.
Good to get back out there and will back next week.

My son and I fished the wall this morning. Got our 4. Biggest was 12 lbs.
3 were on the Glow Green Haze, the other was on our new "kitchen sink" style we are trying out.

[Honey Badger]

Had a great three day early season fishing trip this week out of Toquart. Fished Swale one morning, Meares the other and ending at Cree yesterday and caught fish at all spots, Cree being the best, both for the morning bite and the night bite, biggest being 13lbs, most around 8-10lbs with a lot of jacks released. Great weather and great conditions, can't complain!
